According to Hitwise Singapore, YouTube is the current market leader in the Social Networking & Forums online industry with 16.61% share of visits for the week ending 16 February 2008. Friendster followed with 12.96% share of visits. Google Trends shows a similar result:

According to Hitwise Singapore, over the 24 weeks ending 8 December 2007: the top 5 search terms directing traffic to websites in the Lifestyle – Fashion industry: ‘coach’, ‘louis vuitton’, ‘gucci’, ‘lv’ and ‘victoria secret’. The only generic search term was ‘fashion’.

It looks like that as a China YouTube, Tudou.com is doing pretty well. For advertisers and marketers, you can do site targeted advertising using AdWords on the following websites:

imeem.com
tudou.com
veoh.com
metacafe.com
youtube.com

You could receive huge amount of traffic by doing site targeting on these websites; just keep in mind of the conversions. Traffic alone doesn’t mean anything.
