According to iResearch, online dating users in China has exceeded 20 million. Currently, there are four main channels of generating profits:
- Membership
- Wireless value added service
- Paid offline activities
- Online advertising
There are almost 40% of online dating users hold a university degree and 30% with diploma. 38.1% are below 24 years old and almost 20% between 25 and 30.
What I know from my friends are, there are many Chinese Internet users meet their online friends. One night stand, long term relationship, just for fun,… It’s a big market.
