Recently the Korean media has come up with The World’s Top Digital Cities list in which Beijing is ranked No. 9. Here is the top 10 list:

The top 10 digital cities are ranked according to the following criteria:

Broadband speed, cost and availability

Beijing police force had public release on Aug 28 showing Internet 110 Virtual Police cartoon characters (110 is the free telephone call to police office).
