Recently a very good friend of mine in China resigned and started exploring to be an entrepreneur. I am trying to give him some valuable advice; here is my thought:
- Find your passion and make meaning. You should know what you are doing and why. This is how I started my entrepreneurial career; this is why I never give up; and, this is what keeps me moving forward no matter how difficult it is. Again, find your passion and make meaning.
- Make small and measurable successes. A lot of entrepreneurs fail because they are too excited with their ideas and try to create something as perfect as possible, which makes the entrepreneurial road tougher. When starting up, the entrepreneur need to keep his spirit up and be motivated now and then. Don’t try to build Roma in a day.
- Stop preparation; start acting. Your plan can always be improved. But, if you never start building your business, you can never succeed. What’s more, you may be discouraged by your procrastination.
